Yes, once upon a time, I made up my mind. And I stuck to it.

But to what did I make this decisive decision towards? Now that is the true question.

Did I say, "I'm going to have ten million friends!"?

Well, if I did, I failed miserably. I count one best and maybe seven other more than acquaintences.

Did I say, "I'll become an amazing artist!"?

Nope. As the lack of artistic talent and bulk will attest to.

Did I say, "I'm going to live!"?

Yes... I suppose I did. I did say that the first moment I screamed when I had been born. I said that when I almost crashed a car going down a hill when I was four. I said that when I was hit by an old woman in a Lincoln Town car, and spun out of control and landed on the side leaving me hanging from my seatbelt for a half hour as they cut me out. I said it as my ex-boyfriend, and two other friends and I spiraled towards a tree. I said it when my father had a heart-attack. I said it when I began to fail chemistry. I said it when life for me changed.

Life can be good and can be bad. But life is the ultimate sickness that we don't want to be cured of.
